Emotions and passion race across the new Wi-Fi infrastructure.

AD Consulting implemented Wi-Fi coverage across the 75,000 sqm paddock of the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli. The infrastructure represents another key milestone in the broader modernization project of a circuit that is already among the most advanced in the world.

The Misano Adriatico Circuit is a historic track, inaugurated in 1972 and designed under the supervision of Enzo Ferrari. After a period of disuse lasting several years, it has once again become a historic stop on the MotoGP World Championship since 2007.

THE SITUATION AND THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE FIRST PHASE

The circuit’s Wi-Fi coverage, although already present, required significant upgrades across the entire extensive area. AD Consulting, after a thorough analysis of the whole zone to be covered with free connectivity both indoors and outdoors, proceeded with the installation of the first hotspots capable of covering the planned 20,000 sqm for the first phase.
To ensure the best broadband connectivity, high availability, reliability, and security, Aerohive Networks Access Points were used, specifically AP1130 (with dedicated antennas) and AP250 units. These were managed through HiveManager, a simple and flexible cloud platform that provides unified management of all wireless devices, enabling constant visibility into the network status.

Upon completing the first phase, AD Consulting covered the first 20,000 sqm of the circuit with free Wi-Fi, including the main building, press room, race control, garages, restaurant, and paddock.
The new wireless infrastructure is now able to ensure high-performance connectivity across a very large and highly frequented area, a service that is particularly appreciated where sharing emotions is an integral part of the overall experience.
It enables connectivity for teams, staff and circuit operators, journalists, and guests, allowing fast and secure browsing.

'Leggi meno' : 'Leggi di più'; }); } });
