Fiorano Modenese: a safe Smart City
The Municipality of Fiorano Modenese adopted a video surveillance solution developed by AD Consulting that intelligently monitors the territory — including the area in front of the Sanctuary. The solution consists of software and cameras. The city has improved security and the monitoring of strategic areas potentially subject to crime.

AD Consulting designed the entire monitoring system by installing ultra-high-resolution cameras that enable automatic facial and license plate recognition through the devices’ zoom capabilities, which leverage megapixel technology.
The cameras are able to operate without an operator, can perform optical tilting to frame objects and people in any position, and can zoom in on what is truly relevant.
There are also cameras with 180° or 360° panoramic vision and four lenses, designed to monitor large areas and display them at any time, even in the dark. A single camera can replace up to 65 traditional devices thanks to the digital zoom function across multiple areas of interest.
