**Mission-critical applications such as email and unified communications are always available. All other services use the load balancer to leverage reverse proxy functionality, reducing the use of public IP addresses and providing statistical information for internal use.
AD Consulting’s technical team implemented redundancy for the pilot service (ADFS), which supports authentication for over 2,000 users, and then extended these capabilities to other services.
